很显然，这张照片是移花接木肆意歪曲的：
一、着装的年代不符。武警部队自２００５年１月１日起，全体官兵统一佩戴胸标和臂章，而照片上武警士兵的着装既无胸标，也无臂章，该照片显然是２００５年１月１日之前所拍。自２００６年５月１日始，武警部队战士统一换着０５式服装，其服装材质由布料改为仿毛面料，挺括舒展，而照片上显示武警战士穿着的是８７式布料服装。显然，照片上反映的服装与部队现行着装不是一个年代。
二、着装的季节不符。３月初的西藏，天气依然寒冷，气温在零下，武警部队均着冬装，市民同样也穿着冬服；而照片上武警战士穿着８７式夏常服，市民穿着也比较单薄，显然是藏区５月份后的季节。
