Hu Bing Milan Fashion Week Symposium Speech Sharing Years of Fashion Work Experience

Milan Fashion Week 2024 started on February 20th, and Hu Bing, who just finished her work in London Fashion Week, was also invited to Milan and started a non-stop trip. Compared with going to various show shows, Hu Bing has more important work in Milan this time. He will be invited to participate in the symposium to discuss the experience of "Designers for the Planet" project with many brands and industry leaders of Milan Fashion Week.

Hu Bing’s speech at the symposium of sustainable designers has a long way to go.

On the first day of Milan Fashion Week, Hu Bing, Chairman of CNMI (Italian National Fashion Chamber of Commerce), Head of Sustainable and Group Social Responsibility of Tod’s Group, Chief Marketing and Group Strategy Officer of Moncler Group, Head of Creative Talents Introduction Project of OTB Group, Senior Director of Talent Introduction of Versace and Vice President of Human Resources of Versace Europe, Middle East and Africa attended the meeting. Designers for the planet is a project that CNMI has paid close attention to in recent years, which has created many exhibition opportunities for new brands and cutting-edge designers.

As a guest at the meeting, Hu Bing also expressed his views in the lecture on how creative enterprises go to the international market through brand positioning. "It is a long way to go to discuss the selection criteria of sustainable designers project this season: Designers for the planet, focusing on the sustainable concept of creativity and production process, and exploring the development path of circular economy in the fashion field."

New Identity of Fashion Instructor Hu Bing, Curator of Modern China Lifestyle

In addition to participating in the symposium, Hu Bing also expressed his views on exploring creative talents in the future as a curator of modern China lifestyle. "I think that if you are a young designer, he should actually make more efforts so that he can put success and opportunity together, and then he can become a pair of hands." Hu Bing, who has worked in the fashion industry for more than 30 years, shows great understanding of the practical difficulties that young designers will encounter. "I know many people say today that I have been engaged in the fashion industry for a long time. When can I become a very famous designer?" But learning about fashion should be endless, just like even today, Hu Bing, as a fashion pioneer, has never stopped, keeping an open mind to try and accept new things. "Learning and progress is the key". At the end of his speech, Hu Bing has not forgotten his mission as a "translator" of Chinese and Western fashion culture: I am here today to share Chinese and Western cultures, and I also support that young Chinese and Western designers can communicate better and learn more from each other. In fact, design has no national boundaries, but we should understand each other and make the distance between us closer.

It is an umbrella and a warm-hearted predecessor. Hu Bing feels the same way as a young designer

As a fashion instructor, Hu Bing has always supported and encouraged young designers. "Every time I meet young designers, I have a very special mood. I feel that I hope to be their umbrella. I hope they can give full play to their creativity under the protection and try their best to help them complete their dreams." However, he has worked in the fashion field for many years, and he also knows that his dreams need to be cared for, but he needs to experience the hammer of wind and rain. "The market is a cruel reality. After all, all designs have to be baptized by the buyer’s reality, and the design will eventually be worn by customers." It may be that I realized that my speech at the symposium was too realistic. Hu Bing, who was warm-hearted, was afraid of hitting the young designers. He privately said that he would appease the young people a little bit. After all, as a person who has been through it, he felt very much for the young designers. "It’s really difficult. It needs good fabrics, novel designs, unique styles and cheap prices … I’ll talk to everyone slowly."

It is reported that Hu Bing has long been interested in promoting exchanges between young Chinese and Western designers. He hopes to find some outstanding young Chinese and Western designers in the middle of this year, give them a stage to release their talents to the fullest, and at the same time let everyone see the potential of the China market.
